Last week Zane Gonzalez was a field goal away from having me at 3-0 and back on top of the mountain of winning. Going 2-1 is still a winning record though, so we are getting back on track. College Basketball started last week and the bets of the week may have to dabble in some college basketball soon.

This week though we are going to stick with the NFL and give college basketball another week to get up to speed and see which teams the Boz really likes. The record overall now is 24-17, but we need an undefeated week this week to solidify that the Boz is back to his winning ways. Let’s take a deep dive into our picks this week…

The Picks Are In

1.) Saints (-3) vs Falcons - The Saints may not have Drew Brees and the Falcons have been playing better as of late, but I believe the Saints cover this week. My reason for that would be that the Saints defense has been one of the best units in the league, and they have been running the ball on offense effectively. Taysom Hill has limited the turnovers. As Tom Sottnick always says “run the ball and play good defense.” I believe the Saints will win the time of possession battle and control the game easily. Hammer -3.

2.) Cardinals (ML) vs Rams - The real question is why am I betting on the Cardinals again after Zane Gonzalez let me down last week? The real answer is because the Cards are due for a big bounce-back game and I think Hopkins and Murray get this offense back on track this week. They had a little hangover from that hail mary win and have really played down to their competition recently. This Cardinals team is too talented and still one of the teams I like in the playoffs. They right the ship this week and handle the Rams and that bum Jared Goff.

3.) Bills (-1.5) VS 49ers - Vegas has not been high on the Bills this year and I have absolutely no idea why. Yes, their defense is middle of the pack, but Josh Allen and company on offense are one of the best in the league. The 49ers did get a big win last week and maybe Nick Mullens is better than Jimmy G (that dude needs to stay away from the pornstars), but with this game basically and pick’em and how high I am on the Bills I am hammering them at -1.5.
